This LG UltraGear monitor is a fantastic ultrawide option. The 38-inch IPS panel delivers vibrant colors and wide viewing angles, and the 3840x1600 resolution is a nice step up from standard 1440p. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make for a very responsive gaming experience. G-Sync works flawlessly to eliminate tearing. The 450 cd/m² brightness is decent for HDR. However, the contrast ratio is only 1000:1, so blacks aren't as deep as VA panels. Overall, a great monitor for immersive gaming.
